Whale watching and Bird watching

During the spring months Orca’s can be seen from the beach at Zahara feeding on the tuna being fished off the coast. At other times take the marine research boat out of Tarifa and see the variety of dolphin and whale migrating through the straits of Gibraltar.

Costa del Luz’s coastline is the nearest point between Europe and Africa and is on the main migratory route Eagles and Vultures can be seen easily with binoculars.

Sight seeing

Visit the famous ”pueblos blancos” of Vejer and Medina Sidonia or the ancient town’s of Cadiz, Jerez and Ronda. Or take a daytrip by fast ferry ( 35mins)  from Tarifa to Tangier.
